The Toronto Tibetan Community has several organizations that actively work toward achieving their individual missions and goals. Some of which include; Students for a free Tibet Canada, Tibetan Women’s Association, Regional Tibetan Youth Congress Toronto, Canadian Tibetan Association of Ontario and more. Some organizations aim to empower a specific age group while others ultimately oversee the well being of the Tibetans living in Toronto. For example, Students for a Free Tibet Canada addresses the youth and students to partake in the freedom movement and to train them as leaders for tomorrow. On the other hand, the Canadian Tibetan Association of Ontario advocates for the rights of all Tibetan Canadians and encourages their participation in the Canadian Society. In addition, due to the cultural diversity that exists in Canada, the organization works in collaboration with other cultural groups to strengthen the relationship between the Tibetan community and other cultural groups in Canada. These organizations that are present in the Toronto Tibetan Community work in partnership with each other in organizing many different events for the members of the Tibetan community in Toronto.

Sporting Events
There are two main sporting events that take place in the community. A soccer tournament in the summertime and a basketball tournament that occurs twice a year, once in the summer and once in the winter. The soccer tournament to is commemorate a national hero named Pawo Thupten Ngodup who is a martyr that sacrificed his life for the country. The Pawo Thupten Ngodup Memorial Cup is held at Allan A. Lamport Stadium in Toronto every summer between the months of July and August. There are usually 8 to 10 teams that participate in the tournament. Teams are made up of friends or different sports clubs from players' place of origin like the Norbulinga Sports Club from Jawalakhel, Kathmandu, Nepal. The tournament has been running for decades now and is one of the most awaited sporting events in the community. The basketball tournaments however is one of the more popular sport events among the youth. The winter basketball tournament which takes place between the end of December and the first week of January is organized by different people each year but is almost a tradition by now, however the summer basketball tournament is set up by Lungta or in conjunction with Pro Action Cops & Kids program sponsored by the Toronto Police Service. There are about 6 to 8 teams that participate regularly and is sometimes also joined by other teams from the United States. These sporting events help the youth participate and partake in different activities that unites the community together, builds relationships and brings each other closer.
Tibetan Community Centre
The Tibetan Canadian Cultural Centre (TCCC), Toronto's Tibetan community centre, opened it's doors on October 17, 2007. It's Tibetan name is Ganjong Chondeling, named by His Holiness The Dalai Lama during his visit to Toronto in 2004 when The Dalai Lama was asked to name and give his blessing for the cultural centre. The community centre's main purpose is to preserve the Tibetan culture and traditions for the youth growing up in Toronto and it's surrounding areas and also to have a main gathering place for all the members of the community. The TCCC is located in the South Etobicoke area of Toronto. Some programs offered by the centre are Buddhist Philosophy classes, Tibetan Language classes, Yoga classes, and Tibetan Performing Arts classes. The centre is also a place where the community gathers to commemorate important Tibetan Buddhist events and also celebrate holidays such as new years and the Dalai Lama's birthday. TCCC also rents it's hall for weddings and banquets to the public, whether it be for weddings for birthday parties or any other functions. The centre is also a place for the elders in the community can gather and spend time praying and having a place for everyone their age can gather and spend time. The community centre is run by the Canadian Tibetan Association of Ontario, who's main duties are ensuring the community centre is running and all their affairs are maintained and taken care of.
